The NanoDTC at the University of Cambridge is a 4-year doctoral programme (taken after an undergraduate degree) which combines taught courses, short research training projects and a longer PhD project during which students delve deep into key challenges in nanoscience, such as the ones seen in our exhibits. Our students undergo thorough training in all aspects of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, including Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering and Biology and they also regularly interact with industry to help bring their research closer to products that improve our lives.
